Hung Gar or Hung Kuen is a fighting style originating in southern China. It belongs to one of the Guangdong Wu Daming Quan which according to the Cantonese dialect, translates to "Hung Family Style" or "Hung Fist". The birth of this martial art can be traced back to 1700 AD.
Hung Gar Kung is a combat system from the south of China, characterized by the techniques of 5 animals (crane, tiger, snake, leopard, dragon) and 5 elements (wood, water, earth , fire, metal) that thanks to the practice aims to strengthen and develop physically and mentally the practitioner's body in a harmonious manner.
